Kid Update

So this past weekend, The Kid finally learned how to crawl. He had been trying for several weeks to become mobile. He would rock back and forth on his knees at a frenzying pace, as though he was expecting to propel himself like one of those toy cars that you roll backwards and zoom ahead when you let go. And then he was able to properl himself, but only backwards. This made it doubly-frustrating, as not only was he unable to get to the toy across the room, he would get further and further away from it. Poor Kid. Eventually, The Kid put it all together, although he is still extremely slow. Now we have to babyproof the damned place. I hate babygates. I am certain I will cause myself greivous injury from those things.
