Day I Aftermath

The late games didn't turn out so good for me, as I mixed up who would be upset in the two #6-#11 matchups. I shall never doubt UAB again. In the meantime, WVa provided the only exciting game of the entire first day with Creighton's best player (named Funk) lobbing a three-point attempt air ball with about 7 seconds left in a tie game, WVa getting the rebound and fast breaking down the court without any dribbling to slam it home with 2 seconds left. Creighton got a buzzer-beater off, but it was long. Creighton clearly needs to change its mascot to the Barrels. I'm sure I'm not the first person to suggest this.
